Hot Lunch Program - San Diego French American School

Girard Gourmet school lunches offer a healthy, balanced, natural and tasty lunch for your children. Girard Gourmet prepares, delivers and serves the meals at school each full school day. Please fill out completely. Girard Gourmet uses fresh organic produce locally grown on their farm in Julian. Our menus sometimes change based on seasonally available fresh produce. Girard Gourmet will provide non disposable utensils. SDFAS has a long history of being environmentally conscious.

If you don't fill out this form for the year or trimester, the price will be $6 per lunch. A sandwich lunch will be substituted during field trips for registered children. No lunch will be offered for parents during field trip. There is no lunch on minimum days and during vacation.

Emergency lunch will be available at a price of $6 for all children. Please call Valérie, Stéphanie or Babeth.

Cancelation policy: If your child is sick or on vacation you may cancel your child's lunch by sending an email to vasensio@sdfrenchschool.org before 9 a.m. the day the lunch is to be served and get a full credit. After 9 a.m. no refund will be issued. If your child is not satisfied with the lunch program you can cancel it in writing by sending an email to Valerie.

Lunch Program

Children can register for 2 days (Tuesday and Thursday), 3 days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or 5 days a week.

  • $6.00: Lunch fee per day, when not prepaid by year or trimester.
  • $5.00: K-8th per day, paid by trimester or year (see rates below)
  • $4.50: Preschool per day, paid by trimester or year (see rates below)

Please fill out the lunch registration form completely and return it to Valérie (vasensio@sdfrenchschool.org) with your payment made to Girard Gourmet before August 31st and return it to the office. Lunch starts September 3rd, 2014 and ends June 18th, 2015.

There will be three periods for the 2014-2015 school year:

  • September 3rd to December 17th, 2014. Registration before August 29th.
  • January 5th to March 31th, 2015. Registration before December 18th.
  • April 1st to June 17st, 2015. Registration before March 27th.
